EVENT PRODUCTION, ADVERTISING AGENCIES & EDITORIAL

If you’re a regular reader of my twitter account (@katesfxmakeup) you’ll know that I don’t just do film makeup – I get to work on lots of different projects with bookings that are not just to do with film, tv or theatre.  A lot of my work comes in through Advertising and PR agencies or Event Management companies.  These are often jobs that have a quick turnaround in that an enquiry will come in, a quote is sent and agreed, the job happens and that’ll be the last I see or hear about it!  Occasionally I might see something in a magazine, newspaper or online afterwards but more often or not I’m not able to post information or photos about it.  I recently created "Blofeld" for a big private corporate party but unfortunately there was a photo blackout on the event and I wasn’t able to get any Before & After photos for my own portfolio which was a real shame as it was definitely one of my top ten makeovers!

This video is of the Street Fighter V media launch event in London I worked on for M&C SAATCHI LONDON in the Vinyl Factory in Soho.

There are also some great photos on the Daily Mail Online page here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3441562/Street-Fighter-characters-come-life-London-showdown-dazzling-display-including-martial-arts-dance-gymnastics.html

This link is to one of the many websites that carry the images from a job I worked on for the new Hadrians Wall exhibition for Fuzzy Duck advertising agency based in Media City.   https://www.visitengland.com/experience/visit-unique-roman-cavalry-exhibition-along-hadrians-wall

There are lots of stills online from the shoot, these are two of my favourites

The following link is to a well-read Blog by http://bericebaby.co.uk/.  It features a project I worked on for La Roche-Posay, a well-known international skin care brand and part of the L'Oreal group, who were running a Sun Awareness Campaign http://bericebaby.co.uk/2013/05/save-your-skin-with-la-roche-posay.html

The following Youtube video has had 417,728 views!  It was for a company called The Proposers https://theproposers.co.uk/ who organised the event for Bookatable.com. The Proposers have a TV show about strange and unique marriage proposals they organise for clients.  I did this one in Gillrays Restaurant in London, on the Southbank.
