As part of a Shakespeare Celebration event within the Academy’s English Department Kate was asked to deliver several workshops throughout the day to Year 9 focusing on Elizabethan makeup. After extensive research Kate designed the makeup which after a full, interactive demo to each group was applied in paired working by the students under guidance from Kate.
Using Pupil Premium Funding, the staff were delighted with the creative experience, giving added value whilst sparking the student’s imagination and curiosity.
Kate’s work with my students was incredible. It was engaging, informative, brilliantly realistic and I really look forward to working with her again.
