Case Study - Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council with Kent’s Children University

For many years Kate has delivered workshops for several local authority holiday schemes across the country. Each year, on a regular basis she delivers workshops for Tonbridge & Malling’s ACTIVATE. The Activate programme has been designed to offer a wide range of supervised activities for 8 – 16 year olds during the both the East and Summer school holidays. Kate has a strong professional relationship with the Leisure Services staff who know that she is able to deliver day of special effect activities ranging from aging to trauma with large groups of young people.

Kate is also a Learning Destination Provider for Kent Children’s University. The Children’s University™ (CU) aims to promote exciting learning opportunities and experiences outside normal school hours for all children aged 5 to 14. Their ambition is to raise aspirations, boost achievement and foster a love of learning, so that young people can make the most of their abilities and interests. Kate has had a close affiliation with the organisation for over 10 years and continues to stamp Passports at community and school event across Kent and across the UK for the many other Children’s Universities.
